Me and my sister decided to go to the swim meet at our school today. It was extra credit plus it gave us a chance to see a real competition.
But they had people manually timing each lane. The girl who was timing lane 2 went home my sister an I got to time! It was so awesome.
I had such a fucking blast, omg. This amazing :D

So…me and my sister were some bad ass motherfuckers in the pool today.
We were doing elementary backstroke on Tuesday but today coach said work on whatever you want and if it’s something specific to ask for his help. Well at the beginning of class me and my sister couldn’t even float on our stomachs. By the middle we were working on our freestyle stroke (which obviously isn’t developed. By the end we were pushing off the wall and working on our breathing.
It was a really good day. I was so proud of her.
watching phlochte swim is kind of depressing right now lol.
We tried pushing off the wall underwater today…I don’t think there’s a word for how bad I sucked lol. I know there’s only been seven classes (I wish we met everyday instead of two days a week) but fuck, it makes me feel really dumb, especially because some of the swim team members use our class as extra practice time down in the 10-12ft end

I fucking hate my swimming book. It makes me feel even more stupid because I can’t even fucking float. Yeah, I know I’ve only had one class but it sucks when the lane next to you is full of people who can already do some basic stroke moves and it makes me feel/look even more stupid.
I need to learn how to relax in the water. And since the more body fat you have the more buoyant you are, I shouldnt be scared to drown at all.
It’s really stupid but I got so excited when me and my sisters walked out of Sports Authority with all our swim gear. I dunno why. I guess it’s the excitement of wanting to learn. Whatever.
I’ve always wanted to learn how to swim but I’m one of those, “HOLY FUCKIN SHIT. I’M GONNA DROWN AND DIE. GET ME THE FUCK OUTTA THIS WATER NOW” type of people.
But I signed up for this beginning swimming class at school. And it’s legit. Like learning strokes and stuff. It’s not like I wanna compete or really be that good lol, but I’m excited to learn both to swim and to learn the different strokes. And our “coach” is so awesome. He’s really sensitive to people with fear issues, nearsighted/farsightedness, all kinds of stuff and he really makes an effort to help YOU do YOUR best. Ugh he’s amazing. I can’t wait to start.
I just hope I don’t drown and die, heh.
